Atol Solutions will be helping improving the current site, webmastering (content) and publishing newsletters with Mailchimp on a periodic basis.

We have been busy optimizing the site and are very pleased with the new look-and-feel of the HartCirkel site. Implemented a new event management system to make the admin so much easier, provide more information to the visitor on the homepage and lots of other improvements to improve business and pleasure for all.

We have been re-designing the website of Petra Kersten, a dietician in Venray Holland. Aside from the services she provides to her client, she also has published over 40 articles in various magazines. We have adjusted her site to match her new business model to be able for people to purchase her articles as digital products, either as single issues or package around a certain topic or magazine. Her library is now online and available for people to purchase her articles. We also integrated the site with facebook and various look-and-feel adjustments.

We have come across a good guide to understand the principles of VPN (virtual private network), certainly a recommended reading!

For those that are not computer nerds, a VPN involves technology that adds a security layer to private and public networks, including broadband and internet hotspots. Translated to everyday lingo, a VPN is both secure and private for individuals and organizations to send and receive data over the internet. Think of it as your secret network that gives you access to personal internal systems, plus the benefit of being able to browse the internet without minions tracking you. It gives you a way into content that you might not be able to access otherwise, such as Netflix or BBC iPlayer.

Atol Solutions has embarked on a new venture with Create on a Whim, with owner and creator Amy Jones residing in Mishawaka, Indiana.

On a Whim provides services for Interior and Landscape Design, creates residential and commercial planters, as well as custom wreaths and gift baskets.

The Forge is established some years ago by Simon Schellevis in Friesland. He has asked Atol Solutions to revamp his current website (www.simonschellevis.nl). The main purpose of his presence on the web, is to show his portfolio of his works, for gates, displays, tools, sculptures, garden ornaments. Also he presents and gives exhibition of his tradesmanship on fairs, other forges and gives workshops.

He also designs and realizes custom works for people with a design in mind.

We have successfully ported the content of the current site and made it into a professional nice looking site, which also enables him to update and posts blogs and events that he participates in, such as the Frisian Museum Village in Allingawier. Naturally the site is now responsive for any device.

We are in the process of selecting a new hosting party and will migrate the new site to it. 

It has been a pleasure working with Simon and hope he gets a lot of traction on his new site, with all the state-of-the-art tools, firewall, backup facilities and the like.

Atol Solutions has embarked on a new venture with “Zeilen met de Sterna” (Sailing with the Sterna), a NGO run by Elsbeth Attema, in the Netherlands. The NGO organizes special sailing trips to various places around the IJselmeer and Waddensea and its lovely islands, Vlieland, Terschelling, Ameland and Texel. The ship is a flat bottom of about 14 yards and 5 yards wide. A lovely sailing vessel, the pearl of Friesland, will be docking in Attingawier in April and will be in operations and for hire from April till October 2019.

The Sterna is a beauty, well maintained and in great condition thanks to the owner Elsbeth Attema. This boat is a steal in today's marketplace at Euro 199.000. And imagine 21% VAT included in this price, so for someone desiring such a boat in the USA, can even opt out on this 21% tax. Naturally one has to move it over, but for this price that should not be a barrier. This boat comes highly recommended and is priced such it will not be long on the market. So jump in on this terrific deal.

Atol Solutions is excited to work with a long-time relation with AIA Massage Therapies. This goes back to the time that we did work on the PJIA Terminal in Sint Maarten (2006-2009), assigned to handle all the IT aspects of the Airport operations. Tricia Altenau helped to get through all the pressure and strains of the assignment with her incredible gifts as a massage therapist, but also a healer.

After 25 years, Atol Solutions and Nicholas Berger (Art) met again. A great getting together after all this time, it was like yesterday. We discussed the need for a new face for NBA, aside from a Facebook page. We worked for long hours to get Nick's vision onto the new website and with his fabulous art, it is a pleasure to one's eye. 

Hudson Valley Auctioneers embarked with Atol Solutions on a journey to revamp their website with a new insight, new way of presenting the needed information on any device and basically modernize the look-and-feel for their business, which is auctions, appraisals, estate liquidations and advise for shipping sold goods. Mr. Vaughn and De Haas have expressed the need for linking to new channels, such as online auctions, for previewing and actual online bidding. The previewing of the monthy auction catalog is now online and available on the new site.
